Responsible Travel

Travel should leave a place as good as we found it, and often a little better. We cannot fix everything, but we can plan trips that tread lightly and put money into local hands.

Local partners first

We work with local guides, drivers, and homestay owners so more of your spend stays in the place you are visiting.

Smaller groups

Smaller groups are easier on villages, trails, and wildlife than a large crowd arriving at once.

Less single use plastic

We suggest a refillable bottle and point you to refill points, and keep single use plastic out of the itinerary where we can.

Respect local customs

We brief you on dress, photography, and behaviour for the places you are visiting, before you go.

Travel off season where it helps

In some places an off season visit spreads the load and gives local families work through the year.

Wildlife done right

We steer clear of animal shows and rides that harm animals, and pick experiences that keep them wild.

These are the choices we make while planning. Some trips can go further than others. Ask us what we can do for the place you are visiting.

Plan a trip that travels well

Tell us where you want to go and we will build a plan that respects the place you are visiting.
